SAINT HONOR CAKE| ||154

La torta Saint Honoré è un capolavoro della pasticceria francese, caratterizzata da un’elegante combinazione di profili di gusto e consistenze. La sua struttura comprende di solito una base di pasta frolla o brisée, su cui si dispongono piccoli bignè caramellati e una delicata crema chantilly. Il tutto è decorato con una raffinata glassa di caramello o cioccolato e una generosa spruzzata di panna montata.

 

SETTEVELI CAKE

The Setteveli cake is a work of art of Sicilian pastry art, famous for its multiple layers of chocolate and hazelnut. SEMIFREDDI

The semifreddos, soft and velvety, are perfect for the days summer or as a refined dessert for special occasions. Their consistency is similar to that of a mousse, thanks to the combination of whipped cream and other creamy ingredients such as mascarpone, fresh cheese or custard. Semifreddos can be flavored with a variety of ingredients, such as fresh fruit, chocolate, coffee or liqueurs. At De Santis Santa Croce they are served in individual portions or as a whole cake, with elegant decorations such as candied fruit, chocolate or special toppings.

MIMOSA CAKE

The Mimosa cake is a traditional dessert Italian, particularly popular during Women's Day. It takes its name from the yellow mimosa flower, due to its resemblance to the flowers of this plant. The cake is made up of one or more layers of sponge cake, soaked in liqueur or syrup and filled with a custard flavored with vanilla or lemon. The surface is then covered with a generous dose of crumbled sponge cake crumbs, which resemble mimosa petals. The Mimosa cake is light, delicate and perfect for celebrating special occasions such as birthdays, weddings or anniversaries.

MONT BLANC

The Mont Blanc cake is an iconic creation of French pastry making, inspired by the famous mountain of the same name due to its shape and decoration. This cake is made up of a layer of sponge cake or meringue at the base, on which a mound of sweet chestnut puree rests. This mound is then topped with a generous portion of whipped cream, which is shaped to resemble a snow-capped mountain. The cake is often decorated with marron glacé or chocolate crumbs, representing the details of the rocks and snow. Mont Blanc is a refined and decadent dessert, perfect for special occasions.

 

MILLEFOGLIE

Millefoglie is one of the desserts most loved by our customers. It is made up of alternating layers of crunchy puff pastry and custard or Chantilly. The surface of the millefeuille can be decorated with icing sugar, melted chocolate or fresh fruit for a final touch of elegance and flavour.

PROFITTEROL CAKE

The profitterol cake is made from shells of light and fluffy choux pastry, filled with custard, chocolate, pistachio or zabaglione cream. The frosting of the cream puffs is usually done with melted chocolate and whipped cream decorations.

It is also possible to shape the shortcrust pastry until you obtain a number or letter that represents the name or age of the person celebrating the birthday.
